The Only One and True Gospel

Romans 1:16-17 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, The just shall live by faith."
Jesus told us in John 8:31-32 that "if we continue in his word then we are his disciples indeed and we will know the truth and the truth shall make us free."
We have the greatest message and greatest truth that the world has ever seen.

Calvary Made All Things Perfectly Perfect

Romans 5:10-11 "For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation."
This is talking about Jesus at Calvary. The word in the Greek for reconciliation is “katallege" and it means restoration to divine favor. The King James version of the Bible uses the word atonement instead of reconciliation. In the Old Testament, in particular the book of Leviticus chapter 16 verses 1-17, it speaks of Yom Kippur or the Great Day of Atonement. The word “atonement” in the Old Testament means a covering for sin, however, their sins were forgiven and cleansed according to this portion of Scripture in Leviticus and many others in the Old Testament.
In Hebrews 10:3-4 the central issue is taking away sin. In contrast Hebrews 9:26 is talking about Jesus’sacrifice that put away sin as an entity or the sinful nature. John the Baptist said in John 1:29 "Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world."
