No Compromise

“Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:89. God’s word is settled forever! He is not confused about His word nor His willingness and faithfulness to back up His word. It is now up to the church, Christians, to settle God’s word here on the earth, in their hearts. People need to understand that the trials and tribulations of life are sent to make us question God’s word and His faithfulness to back up His word. They are sent to prove our faith. First and foremost, people, Christians, need to know that it is not God sending the trials to make us better Christians or to teach us a lesson or to prove our faith.
“Blessed is the man who endures temptations; for when he has been approved he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God, for He Himself cannot be tempted by evil, not does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” James 1:12-17. The Sovereignty of God doctrine says that God is in control of everything that happens, that He is allowing bad things, even the devil to do evil to people. It is a false doctrine that violates God, His character, and His word. The thought of such nonsense says that if you are sick or suffering loss or dying that God has a purpose in all that and you should just endure it for His glory because He has a secret plan for your life or someone else’s through pain and suffering. The problem is, that teaching is outside of the boundaries of God’s word concerning Jesus Christ and the atonement provided at Calvary. God put all the sin, the sickness, the poverty, the shame, the premature death, on Jesus so we could be free to walk in His health, His blessings, and His very life as God would have it.
The true doctrine of the Sovereignty of God is that God is true to His word. He is not going to go contrary and allow or permit anything that His word says Jesus has already bought and paid for by His shed blood and broken body. James says that when we are tempted to don’t even say that it is God that is tempting or trying or testing. Is sickness evil? Is it from Satan? Jesus said it was in John 10:10 and Luke said it was in Acts 10:38. So why do we say God is allowing evil or suffering for some unknown divine purpose? All that does is give people that either don’t know God or want to believe in Him a reason to reject Him.
The truth is our heavenly Father has put the dominion of this earth, including the lives of people into the hands of the church. It is our responsibility to take Jesus authority, power and victory and enforce them in the lives of people on this earth. When things get tough, we don’t change or compromise our beliefs to explain away things we have no answer for. We dig in. We dig deep. We go after the truths of God’s word stronger today than we did yesterday regardless of what things look like. We don’t let people or situations to cause us to compromise God and His word.
The Father is looking for sons and daughters that are passionate about seeing His word settled on earth. He is looking for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Will you respond to the call and be a person of no compromise?
