Let God Out
“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. God the Holy Spirit lives inside you if you are born-again today. How do we glorify God in our body and in our spirit? WE LET GOD OUT!
Romans 12:1-2 tells us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, but not just any old way. It is to be holy (sanctified, set-apart) and acceptable to Him. In view of all that Jesus has done for us it is the most spiritual service or reasonable thing to do is to present a holy vessel (our whole being) to Him. Transformation (letting God out) begins when we stop conforming to this world and renew our minds. You can never know or accomplish God’s will for your life with an unrenewed mind. Ephesians 4:23 says to be renewed in the spirit of your mind. In other words, start thinking like God the Holy Spirit inside you is thinking.
Once you know what the will of God is, you must choose or make a quality decision to do God’s will. Zeal without knowledge of God and His word will produce ignorance and error with weirdness. Romans 10:3 tells us Israel was ignorant (unlearned), though they had a zeal for God, of God’s righteousness but did not submit to the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own righteousness. God inside you wants you to work out your own salvation as He, inside of you, works to will and to do for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:12-13.
What else besides renewing the mind and choosing God’s will is necessary to LET GOD OUT? We need to develop a relationship with the Holy Spirit as a person. John 14:26, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to remembrance all things that I have said to you.” John 4:24 says we must worship God in “spirit and in truth.” True worship only comes out of you to the level of the truth that is in you. John 8:31-32, “If you abide in my word, then you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free (it will truly liberate you and LET GOD OUT!).
